Our Team

Dr. Kennedy trained and graduated from UCD. He has been a practising obstetrician and gynaecologist for over 20 years and has been working exclusively in fertility for the last 14. He has worked in a number of different fertility units and has held Medical Director roles since 2015. In 2021 he joined and helped to found and build the ethos of Thérapie Fertility, which is promoting affordable, accessible and evidence-based fertility care. Dr. John has been responsible for assisting thousands of Irish couples and women in becoming parents.

Dr. Megat Kamaruzaman brings nearly two decades of medical expertise to Thérapie Fertility, specialising exclusively in reproductive medicine since 2018. After graduating from UCD/RUMC in 2007, he built a robust foundation in obstetrics and gynaecology, practicing in major maternity hospitals across Ireland and Malaysia. In 2016, he achieved membership in both the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. ​Dr. Megat’s focused career in fertility medicine began with formal specialist training in Ireland in 2018. Known for his supportive communication style and dedication to evidence-based fertility care, he has helped countless couples overcome reproductive challenges and take the next steps toward building their families.

Dr. Nosheen Iram graduated from Sheikh Med College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Following on from that, she pursued her fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Pakistan. Since 2011, she has dedicated herself to practicing obstetrics and gynaecology in various hospitals across Pakistan and Ireland. Dr. Nosheen trained as a fertiity specialist in Ireland prior to joining the Thérapie Fertility team in 2024. Dr. Nosheen loves supporting women and couples through treatment, and has a special interest in fertility preservation.

Dr. Ciara O'Keeffe completed her undergraduate training at the University of Exeter where she received a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. She then when on to complete specialist training inn Obstetric and Gynaecology in South West London and became a member or the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Ciara has also completed fellowships in St Bartholomew's Hospital in Fertility and St George's Hospital in Endometriosis. She relocated to Ireland in 2025 to work both in fertility and general gynaecology with a focus on Menopause. She is passionate about egg freezing and POI. 

Dr. Vipin Kumar is a highly experienced obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist who joins Thérapie Fertility in Belfast with over 15 years of clinical experience spanning India, the Middle East, Central Asia and the United Kingdom. His specialist fertility training includes a fellowship in IVF, India, and a specialisation in assisted reproductive technology (ART) from the renowned IVI Valencia, Spain, and EFRM from the ESHRE-EBCOG. Dr. Vipin is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and keeps at the very forefront of advances in fertility medicine. Having dedicated much of his career to helping individuals and couples navigate the deeply personal journey of fertility treatment, Dr. Vipin brings a rare combination of technical expertise, academic rigour and genuine compassion to every consultation.

As Chief Operating Officer at Thérapie Fertility, Gráinne brings almost 25 years of working in the fertility industry in Ireland. She studied education in the UK, and then began working in 2002 in fertility, starting in an administrative and project-based capacity. She was responsible for the development and implementation of quality systems for a number of medical companies. Over her eighteen years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, her focus has included quality and project management and digital transformation. She has also managed the set-up of new fertility clinics across Ireland. Her strengths includes strategic development, recruiting top talent, and enhancing operational efficiencies to align with strategic goals. Collaborating with cross-functional and multisite teams, her team drives the delivery of innovative fertility services that are affordable, accessible and evidence-based.  Gráinne's mission is to enable continuous improvement in the fertility sector, leading to better outcomes for patients.

Cyrille Kuster is the Quality & Data Manager at Thérapie Fertility and has worked in the fertility sector in Ireland for nearly 15 years. With strong experience in quality, patient safety, risk, and compliance management, Cyrille is committed to delivering safe, transparent, and high-quality fertility care. He has been instrumental in achieving key quality and regulatory standards for Thérapie Fertility, including JCI Ambulatory Care Accreditation and ensuring HPRA Authorisation compliance in Ireland. Passionate about patient experience and continuous improvement, Cyrille works to ensure every patient feels supported and informed throughout their journey to building a family.

Melissa is an experienced fertility nurse with a genuine passion for supporting individuals and couples throughout their fertility journey.  She is an ESHRE certified nurse and also holds certification in Fertility Ultrasound from the UCD.  She combines evidence-based clinical care with a warm, compassionate approach, ensuring every patient feels supported, informed, and truly cared for during what can often be an emotional and life-changing experience. As a nursing leader, Melissa leads a dedicated team of skilled fertility nurses and midwives, fostering a culture of safety, compassion, professionalism, and patient-centred care. She is passionate about mentoring and supporting her team, encouraging continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence in clinical practice. Melissa works closely with her colleagues to ensure patients receive seamless, high-quality care throughout every stage of their treatment journey. She takes great pride in creating an environment where both patients and staff feel supported, valued, and empowered, recognising the important role that kindness, communication, and teamwork play within fertility care.

As Head of Embryology, Carol is a dedicated scientist, upholding the highest standards in embryology, ensuring a calm, safe, well‑coordinated laboratory environment that supports precision at every step. Her steady focus on improving processes and outcomes shows her deep commitment to giving every patient the best possible chance of success. Through her meticulous and skilful work as an embryologist, Carol has contributed to the success of thousands of fertility treatments across her decade and a half of working in the Irish IVF industry. On a daily basis, she demonstrates expertise in both the scientific and personal aspects of her role. Her commitment to high standards of lab practices, coupled with a genuine care for patient experience, sets her apart.
